Slowly braised glossy red cabbage with sweet red onion, apple, cinnamon and a pinch of warming cinnamon.


Ingredients: Red cabbage, red onion, cooking apple, demerara sugar, cinnamon, butter (milk), dried cranberries (sulphites) White balsamic vinegar (50%concentrated white grape must, 50% vinegar from white grapes contains Sulphites), salt and pepper.

Cooking instructions from frozen.

Oven – Preheat the oven to 180ºC (fan) 350ºF, Gas 4, remove the lid and place the container on a baking sheet.  Cover with tin foil. Cook for 35-40 minutes until hot all the way through. Stir half-way through the cooking time.

Microwave – If you prefer you can decant the contents of the container into a microwavable container and cook on high for 3 minutes, stir, cook for a further 2 minutes and rest for 2 minutes before serving.

Oven devices may vary. These instructions have been tested using an accurate oven thermometer and we recommend that, to ensure this product is properly cooked, you use one too!
