Creamy Red Pesto & Basil Sauce for Salmon – Serves 4
Creme fraiche, red pesto and basil sauce with a hint of lemon juice.
This vivid orange coloured, creamy sauce of red pesto and double cream with lemon juice is an ideal accompaniment for our Salmon en Croute.
Ingredients: Double cream (milk), lemon juice, fresh basil, black pepper, salt, red pesto (tomato puree, sunflower seed oil, basil, cheeses (milk), Parmigiano Reggiano PDO cheese, Pecorino, sun-dried tomatoes, peppers (sulphites), cashew nuts, carrots, pine nuts, acidity regulator, lactic acid, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, salt, anti-oxidant, rosemary extract. May also contain other nuts and Peanut traces).
If possible defrost, then reheat gently in a saucepan. Serve hot.
Once defrosted, keep refrigerated and use within 48 hours..Oven devices may vary. These instructions have been tested using an accurate oven thermometer and we recommend that, to ensure this product is properly cooked, you use one too!
